SENNIYO started in Hong Kong in 1982

Since 1982, we have focused on the beauty industry for nearly 40 years. Dean Survana Yuen, as an industry pioneer, pioneered Senniyo in Hong Kong, and firmly believes that advanced instruments and professional experience will definitely do more with less. In recent years, Senniyo has continuously introduced cutting-edge medical beauty equipment, and cooperated with the expert team’s years of knowledge and experience to provide Vancouver customers with high-quality medical beauty, body shaping, health care and spa services. In 1992

Was the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the brand. In the same year, Ms. Survana Yuen brought her professionalism and enthusiasm for beauty to Vancouver. She used decades of beauty experience and advanced technology to help Vancouver women regain their confidence.

In 1993
As a Chinese beauty authority, participated in the radio program for the first time

Ms. Survana Yuen is a Chinese beauty authority on the radio program “Senniyo Dress Up Story”, sharing new trends in beauty, shaping and makeup. Many professional skin care concepts are now outdated.

In 1994
Richmond branch established

In 1994, the second Senniyo beauty and fitness salon in Metro Vancouver was established in Richmond, continuously enriching exclusive treatments, introducing cutting-edge beauty equipment, and continuing to provide high-quality services for beauty lovers.

In 1996
Senniyo Aesthetics International School of Canada was established

Feeling the increasing demand for professional beauticians in the Vancouver market, Ms. Survana Yuen established the “Senniyo International Cosmetology Training Academy”, which aims to provide systematic teaching of beauty theory and professional techniques and train top beauticians.

In 1999
Appear on TV show to share beauty knowledge

Ms. Survana Yuen appeared on the TV program “Xianni Yamei’s Model” and became the first beauty consultant to host a TV program in North America. She analyzed beauty trends in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and continued to expand brand influence.

In 2000-2014
Miss Chinese Award Presentation Guest

As an industry benchmark, Senniyo has been invited to participate in international beauty and charity activities many times, including the first makeup contest in China, the chief judge of Vancouver Chinese representatives, and the honorary sponsorship of Miss Chinese Canadian.

In 2002
Set up a spa location

2002 is the 10th anniversary of Senniyo’s foothold in Canada. Senniyo followed the trend and established SPA France, which uses natural treatments to allow urbanites to experience peace and comfort in the hustle and bustle of life, feel self-healing, release stress and anxiety.

In 2003
The school won the Outstanding Beauty School Achievement Award

In 2003, the school was awarded the most outstanding beauty school achievement award by the Cosmetologists’ Association of BC for its high-standard teaching level. The professional level of the school graduates was highly recognized by the association.

In 2005
The school obtained PCTIA certification

Senniyo International Cosmetology Training Academy was certified by the Private Vocational Training Board (PCTIA/PTIB) of the British Provincial Department of Education in 2005, which means that students who complete the course can obtain an international professional beautician diploma and can also participate in British Columbia. For the license examination, those who pass the qualification can have a license to practice as a beautician registered in BC, Canada, which is recognized in many countries.

In 2007
China Entrepreneur Summit Outstanding Chinese Entrepreneur Award

Dean Survana Yuen won the Outstanding Chinese Entrepreneur Award from the China Entrepreneurs Summit in 2007. Senniyo’s success story has inspired many Chinese entrepreneurs.

In 2008
Sichuan Wenchuan Earthquake Relief

On May 12, 2008, a major earthquake occurred in Wenchuan, Sichuan. Ms. Survana Yuen donated the first 10,000 yuan donation on behalf of Senniyo at the Fair Child TV sponsored by Fair Child TV. It was designated as the Senniyo Open Day, and Ms. Survana Yuen once again donated 10,000 yuan of all the operating income of its branches on this day for disaster relief in Sichuan, reflecting the entrepreneur’s sense of social responsibility.

In 2009
Won the Global Chinese Outstanding Entrepreneur Award

In 2009, Ms. Survana Yuen, won the Global Chinese Outstanding Entrepreneur Award, which recognizes Chinese entrepreneurs who have outstanding achievements and contributed to society.

In 2013
The school marches towards its 18th anniversary, provincial councilors cut the ribbon

The influence of the Senniyo Aesthetics International School of Canada continues to expand. On the 18th anniversary of its founding, the BC Provincial Assembly personally cut the ribbon to congratulate Senniyo.

In 2014
The school obtains EQA certification and can recruit overseas students

Senniyo Aesthetics International School of Canada is the only school in Vancouver that uses English, Cantonese, and Chinese to teach simultaneously. In 2014, the college obtained the BC Provincial Government’s Educational Quality Certification (EQA) and has the qualifications for overseas enrollment. Many graduates have established their own beauty salons in Canada, Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, or have been recruited by mainstream Western beauty salons, SPAs, large department stores and skin care manufacturers.

In 2017
Official launch of medical aesthetic services

Senniyo is constantly seeking the latest medical knowledge and technology. In 2017, it officially launched the medical beauty project. It introduced the popular anti-aging instrument ultrasonic knife and the innovative cryolipolysis technology COOLSHAPING reported by the media to provide customers in Vancouver with safe and effective medical beauty treatment experience.

In 2018
Introduced Picoholic speed picosecond instrument

Senniyo invested heavily in the introduction of revolutionary skin-cleaning laser technology in 2018. This technology can safely and effectively remove all kinds of pigmentation, acne scars, wrinkles and tattoos. It is one of the best ways to treat stubborn chloasma.

In 2019
In 2019, Senniyo officially transformed into “Senniyo Medical Beauty Group” and hired registered physicians in BC. In the fast-paced life, we provide customers with high-quality and high-efficiency effective medical aesthetic services, including botox injections, water-light injections, hyaluronic acid fillings, lipolysis injections, etc…
